Revenue Sources

The Journal of Teaching and Education for Scholars (JOTES) implements a Diamond Open Access publishing model. Unlike journals where the cost of publishing is borne by the authors through an Article Processing Charge (APC), JOTES does not rely on author fees.

All operational, editorial, and technical costs associated with the publication process are fully supported and funded by the publisher, Yayasan Cendekiawan Indonesia Timur (YCIT). Thanks to this institutional support, once an article is published, the full-text content will be freely and permanently available to all readers and the global academic community without any subscription fees or paywalls, subject to the applicable open-access licenses.
